Weiler Photography was established in 2004, in a 8z8 spare bedroom of Darren's home.
With space becoming and issue, and the demand for his work on the rise, it was time to
move. In 2008, Darren move from his home to his current studio. Bringing in top of the
line equipment and software, along with his continued education in photography,
Darren has built Weiler Photography into an award winning portrait studio.
Darren was born in Dickinson, North Dakota. During the summer of 1994, Darren along
with his parents (Duane & Nelda) moved to Mandan, North Dakota. In High School,
Darren was active in Sports, with his passion in baseball. Darren was named the 2000
state American Legion Baseball co-MVP. Also not known to him he would meet his
now wife during his sophmore year. Darren graduated from Mandan High School in 2000
and attended the University of Mary and played baseball for two years as a Marauder.
In 2002, Darren and Kristen (wife) headed back west to finish school and both graduated
from Dickinson State University in 2005. 3 weeks after graduation, Darren and his high
school sweetheart Kristen were married.
In 2007 Darren and Kristen were blessed with their first son Ty. In February of 2009 they
were again blessed with the birth of their second son Zachary.
Darren credits his successful carrer so far to the love and support of his family, and also
his family of other photographers. Darren has learned so much from many of the
industries top photographers. Darren also claims that with his continued education in
photography he keeps his ideas fresh and his attitude for his profession fun and
exciting. Darren looks forward to working with many of you, and creating lasting
memories.
